About Jennifer

Jennifer is a native North Carolinian and has been a full time Realtor since 2009. This is her second career. She began working in newspapers in nearby Morganton and in Fayetteville, NC, leaving to pursue a graduate degree and work in New York City, Boston, and New Jersey. A love of houses, rehabbing and people launched her second career in suburban Basking Ridge, NJ, where she and husband Vann raised their three children. When two of the kids selected N.C. for college, they knew their love for Carolina blue had not fallen on deaf ears. Jennifer was a luxury agent in N.J. and has enjoyed continuing her practice in long-chosen Asheville. She bought property in Buncombe County in 2005 with an eye toward eventual relocation. She particularly loves getting to know her client's stories and introducing them to the physical beauty and depth of cultural offerings in western North Carolina.

Pre-Corona days, Jennifer was out and about hiking easy trails, attending art openings, doing everything fun that brought her to Asheville. Now that our lives are temporarily more restrictive, she is continued to work with select clients and expanded her volunteer efforts, with her husband, to Homeward Bound, Pisgah Legal, Manna Food Bank and other non-profits.
