About Jennifer
Sixteen years ago, my husband and I made a big decision. We packed up our lives—our three young children and almost everything we owned—into a U-Haul and left behind everything familiar.
We were saying goodbye to our family, our friends, our church home, and a house I truly loved. My husband had accepted a new ministry position in St. Louis—a major life change for all of us.
Just as we were about to start the journey, the phone rang. It was the landlord of the apartment we had planned to move into. He had changed his mind. Just like that, we had no place to live.
I stood there stunned, my heart racing. What were we supposed to do—with three kids and nowhere to go?
Fear crept in, but so did faith. My husband drove the U-Haul, and I drove the minivan with the kids. We headed to St. Louis not knowing what was ahead—just trusting God would make a way.
We checked into a hotel. The city felt huge. I didn’t know north from south or east from west. It was Easter weekend, and after Sunday service, I sat down with a list of rental properties and started calling.
I prayed for a miracle. One call changed everything. The voice on the other end said, “Do you want to move in tomorrow?” In total shock, I said, “Yes!”
I shared our story, and the person understood. We moved in the very next day and returned the U-Haul on time. For the first time in days, I could finally breathe.
It wasn’t perfect, but it was God’s perfect timing. He had a ram in the bush—and I’ll never forget the peace after that storm.
That season taught me a lot. I know what it feels like to leave behind what you love, step into the unknown, and wonder if you’ll find your footing again.
That’s why I help families—especially those walking by faith—navigate the emotional and practical parts of downsizing and moving. I’ve been there.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, you don’t have to walk through it alone.
I help Faith-Based families who feel overwhelmed by downsizing move into a home that allows them to focus on faith, family, and fellowship.
Let’s trust God together.
