Working with Jerry Weaver as our real estate agent was one of the best decisions we’ve made. We had lived in the same location for 26 years and were very apprehensive about purchasing a new home. The first thing I realized is that Jerry treats you like family removing the anxiety of making a change.
After retiring we decided it was time to move closer to family. We had planned on selling our house and renting until we could find another to purchase.
To make a long story short we put our house on the market in July, sold it a couple of weeks later and closed on our new home in September and didn’t have to rent between homes. I know how blessed we were and that a move like this doesn’t happen that often but with Jerry’s help it did. He made sure everything was in order, arranged for our inspections and followed through with setting appointments and meeting deadlines. Jerry took care of everything from start to finish, showing us new homes immediately as they became available so we wouldn’t miss out on any opportunity.
We closed on our old house September 13th and then closed on our new house September 14th and didn’t have to rent for one day. How’s that for timing! I know in the future if the need arises we’ll be using his services again. I can’t say enough about his integrity and professionalism, it was a pleasure working with him.

My experience with realtors has not always been positive. I've been left wondering just what was done to earn such a large commission. But I needed to sell quickly as I had already closed on my dream house and didn't want to take on the hassle and pitfalls of a sale by owner.
Jerry was referred to me by a friend who had been happy with his services. We sat down at my kitchen table for our first interview and I was prepared with tough questions. I was impressed with his knowledge and the marketing resources he had to offer. He also has a background in home renovation and was able to connect me with the people I needed to do some repairs and complete projects.
All his skills came into play when there was a sudden, torrential rainfall on the second day of back-to-back showings. A realtor contacted Jerry to let him know that there was water in the finished basement. This had never happened before. It was not a great deal of water but it was under a floating floor which was going to have to be removed. Jerry met me at the house almost immediately and we discussed options. We decided to continue the showings and advise realtors through the appointment system that there was a problem, but it was being addressed. This did not even slow down the showings.
There was actually a bidding war. The winning bid was well over asking price. It was much more than the cost of removing the damaged floor, removing the blockage in the storm drain and putting down new (and much more practical) porcelain tile. Because of Jerry's connections, all this was done in record time.
The family who bought the house was happy with the new floor. Their agent was actually the one who discovered the water. Closing went seamlessly.
I enjoyed working with Jerry. He was always professional and super responsive. I can honestly say that his services were well worth the cost.

Working with Jerry was like “hitting the easy button“. I highly recommend him both for his professionalism and his responsiveness. If you are looking to sell real estate in Southeast Michigan Jerry is the right person for the job. If I sell any more houses he will be my first call, and I’m sure my only call.

He help me sell my Livonia house. His guidance on staging and pricing resulted in multiple above asking offers. He did all of the work for effectively marketing my house and dealing with the prospective buyers. I couldn’t be happier.
