Jess brings over a decade of full-time real estate expertise, a deep background in business leadership, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to every client. Licensed since 2012 and an active real estate investor since 2010, Jess offers a unique combination of hands-on market knowledge and long-term investment insight.
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Ferris State University and has been immersed in business operations since the age of 14. After college, Jess managed a 36-lane bowling center before launching and running the front office for a national company with annual sales exceeding $40 million. During that time, he hired and led teams of over 100 employees, experience that sharpened his skills in negotiation, operations, and high-level customer service.
In addition to his role as an Associate Broker and GRI-designated Realtor, Jess is the owner of Mel’s Property Management, a growing firm specializing in residential and HOA management in Barry County. Jess is a consistent top producer at Miller Real Estate, earning the Salesperson of the Year award in 2016, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Outside of real estate, Jess is a proud husband and father of four. He also serves as the head coach of the Hastings Boys Varsity Basketball team, a role he took on in 2023, further demonstrating his leadership both in business and in the community.
