Jesse Doucette

Jesse was born in Ashland, his mother was born and raised, and his father is a Northland College alumni.

“After I was born my family moved south to Hudson, Wisconsin where I grew up and went to school, but the fact that my parents are from here, growing up we still traveled to Ashland all the time.”

Throughout it all Jesse would spend summers and holidays in Ashland visiting his cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. His family, and the lake, called him back and he has a difficult time wondering why he even left!

Jesse’s passionate about camping, hiking and boating and had a dream to purchase an off-grid cabin in Northern Wisconsin.

“I love the northwoods of Wisconsin, I love Lake Superior. My long time partner Emily and I have traveled and camped in the region for years and we always talked about getting some land.”

After dreaming and searching, their dream of finding a cabin came true, and this is what sparked Jesse’s interest in real estate.

“Real estate is very mysterious if you’ve never gone through the process. The whole thing floored me, and I found it very exciting.”

Jesse worked with Tony as his agent and saw firsthand the connection Tony has with his clients, so he asked Tony when he could become an agent and work with him.

Jesse purchased an income property and now resides in Ashland with Emily and his dog Toby the tibetan terrier.

His past experience as a client services consultant focused on client retention and he deeply understands the importance of those relationships. Jesse is also an avid vegetable grower and has spent a full growing season working and living on an organic CSA vegetable farm in western Wisconsin. He knows how to put in the work.
