About Jim

Jim Archer is a Texas Real Estate Broker and the owner of Steadfast Realty. He learned the value of hard work as he grew up on a West Texas cotton farm and that hard work led him to a Master’s Degree in Counseling at Texas Tech University. His heart for helping children led him into social work as a National Trainer for The Bair Foundation, a therapeutic foster care agency, where he was twice awarded with the Texas Foster Home Developer of the Year Award. Before moving into real estate full time, he served as a psychology professor at South Plains College for over 10 years. After finding success in real estate investing, he became a full time Realtor, surrounded himself with a team of talented agents and was the Top Producer for Amy Tapp Realty in 2019 and 2020. In May of 2020, he was recognized as a Top Producer by Real Producers Magazine. He founded Steadfast Realty to provide outstanding customer service to clients and provide a comprehensive development program for agents. When he’s not selling real estate, you’ll find Jim spending time with his wife and three children, leading worship, snowboarding, or performing on-stage with his 90’s rock or Texas country bands.
