Jim Drader

James Drader assumed the role of Executive Director at Habitat for Humanity of the New River Valley in 2020, eager to lead and expand the organization while exemplifying the love of Christ. Prior to this, he dedicated several years to serving with New Creation Business Advocates, a notable non-profit group in Porter County. In October 2013, James took on full-time leadership, aiding single men experiencing homelessness in the area. Alongside his commitment to Habitat for Humanity, James remains active in Commercial and Residential Real Estate, leveraging over two decades of experience in the Financial Services industry. His banking career commenced in 1989 as a credit analyst, leading to various roles at esteemed institutions such as First of America Bank, City Savings Bank, and Alliance Bank, where he served as Chief Lending Officer. Following a bank merger in 2005, James transitioned to the real estate sector, acquiring licenses in Indiana and specializing in guiding homeowners and first-time buyers through the mortgage process. With expertise in Commercial Mortgage Loans, Real Estate, Credit Repair, FHA Loans, and first-time homebuyers, James Drader brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to his multifaceted roles.
