Jim sold our childhood home and we had the best experience. He took such good care of us and juggled multiple offers. We thought we would have to invest money in upgrades but Jim advised us against it because he determined the house was in excellent shape. We received 12 offers all over asking so he priced it perfectly. Highly recommend Jim!

He was also absolutly the best while working with me living 2000 miles away in AZ, trying to purchase a house in MI. He is a very kind and compassionate person. I wouldn't do business with anyone else. I HIGHLY recommend Jim Kaschald as your realator. I can't express enough, how helpful he was for me. I may have to make another purchase in MI, and he WILL be my man!

Jim was great to work with. I had to sell my mother’s house in a hurry because she was ill. Jim took care of everything and we got her house sold in just a few weeks at the offer price. He kept us informed through every step and communicated every viewing of the house. He took care of all of this in Detroit while I live in South Carolina. I would 100% recommended him to others. He made a very stressful time a breeze. Thank yo so much Jim.

Jim is an awesome Realtor. He helped my nephew buy his first house. He was patient, thoughtful, and mentoring with his approach.

He ensured my nephew got the right house, matching his budget, and in great shape. Jim was more worried about how the adult life of my nephew was going to start rather than chasing a commission.

My whole family will only work with him in the future.

Jim is the best person I could’ve found my first home with.

He was incredibly supportive along every step. My husband & I owned up right in the beginning how fresh we were in home/buying knowledge, and he educated us along the way, and helped us make good choices (instead of my fear of a “real estate agent taking advantage of our naivety”). Not only did he point out the good things about the homes we were looking at and how it would benefit our lives… he also brought attention to things we maybe DIDN'T want to deal with in a house - be that 100 year-old-basement maintenance, low ceilings for my tall husband, appliances we didn’t notice we’d have to buy, or ones that may be at the end of their life… all of it. He was beyond respectful with us, but also really laid back and laughed with us too! Really did feel like taking a family friend with us.

The house we end up choosing was one Jim intuitively picked out for us; we showed up one day, ready to tour the 3 houses we had sent him, and he said we were seeing 4! One had showed up on the market, he said, just 2 hours prior and in the area we were looking, with all our criteria and then some. He said he just had a feeling. He advocated for us on negotiations, politely yet firmly. Managed to get us everything we needed to feel comfortable buying.

10/10 we recommend Jim Kaschalk, ESPECIALLY for first time buyers! We asked him for a stack of business cards to pass out to friends & family looking to buy. Thank you again, Jim! Very glad to have met you 😊

This was my first time buying a house and Jim made the process extremely smooth for me. He was honest with me and answered all my questions throughout the way. He was able to get me out of a bad deal after we learned the seller was dishonest with their disclosures, then help me find the house that fit my budget and wants/needs all before my current lease was up. Jim Kaschalk is an outstanding realtor and is always sure to help his clients in whatever way they need. He made our home buying experience fast, simple, and very non-stressful. Any question we had as a first time home buyer was answered quickly and efficiently and he helped us through each step of the process anytime we needed him.
