The McCartan Group was established in 1992. Jim began his real estate career selling industrial buildings, and after receiving multiple awards for most units sold, he decided to shift gears investing in, and acquiring, real estate with private investors within the commercial and residential market. Jim managed the whole process from initial acquisitions to acting as general contractor and developer. He also assisted with the management of every rental asset. With Jim’s extensive experience in assisting buyers, sellers, and investors in the purchase and disposition of all real estate classes, he prides himself in his dedication to helping clients reach their goals and ability to strategically market properties and negotiate transactions. He is an expert at analyzing complex real estate models and markets, contracts, and engineering reports, which helps him to effectively market properties to a vast network of local, national and international contacts and clients. Jim is both a licensed Principal Broker and Developer in the state of Oregon and has grown an experienced team to assist with his ongoing referral business.
