Jim Neckermann

James Neckermann Was a senior advisor for Sperry Van Ness specializing in the sale of industrial, office and investment property in Berlin and Hartford County in Connecticut. With over 45 years of combined real estate experience, he has closed over 250 transactions with a career sales volume valued over $350 million.

Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Neckermann served as owner/broker of the Commercial Real Estate Group where he managed all facets of the firm. He also was previously the lead broker/appraiser for REMAX Commercial Advantage where he engaged in sales, leasing and appraisal activity.

His recent achievements include completing 100 transactions within the last 20 years with one of New England s largest subsidized housing developers in Connecticut and Massachusetts; the 2005 sale of over 450,000 square feet of industrial space in 3 transactions

Neckermann s affiliations include Connecticut Association of Realtors; National Board of Realtors; and Accredited Buyer Representative. He has also been a member of the Meriden Y.M.C.A. Board of Directors, served on the Meriden Housing Authority as a board member and its chairman, and was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority.

He currently resides in Berlin, CT with his wife, Carol Association of Realtors
