Joan is a proud New Yorker, born in Brooklyn and formerly a resident of the West Village. Now living full-time in Woodstock, she brings with her a strong connection to NYC—and yes, the accent too! She lives within walking distance of Woodstock’s town center with her husband, Dan Hickey, a professional musician who also holds a real estate license and supports her in her thriving real estate business.

Before entering real estate, Joan spent many years in the hospitality industry, managing restaurants and owning a café in the Village.
