Working as a team, my husband, Rick, and I promise you an amazing experience. I have been licensed since 1981, and while raising our 5 children as a stay at home mom, walked beside my career Realtor husband, Rick Vander Giessen, full time since 1978, as together, we built an amazing business based on service to our clients, relationship building, and connecting people to homes and communities. Rick's name was on the signs and contracts until last year. He has transitioned into my Senior Advisor, as he is dealing with a physical disablity and is now unable to walk. He is with me in every transaction, every conversation as the one with the loads of experience and my rock should anything unexpected or unusual arise!
FAMILY & COMMUNITY FOCUSED
This summer, we will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We are the parents of 5 adult children. One of our greatest pleaures right now is the role of grandparents. We have 19 grandchildren ranging in age from 24 to newborn, 2 joining us via adoption from Ethipia! Our family of 7 has exploded to over 30 with married grandchildren! We're delighting in watching our kids discover God's place for them and His unique plan for their life. We are currently scattered across 7 states, giving us many fun adventures traveling. Rick & I love the outdoors, and still enjoy camping each summer in our RV & biking with our E-bikes! We make a yearly trip to our happy place in Maui & truly enjoy getting into the sunshine on a Cruise in the Caribbean! We are actively involved in our community, Lynden Christian School as well as our church.
