Joe Kenny

Joe Kenny is the oldest son born in Chicago to Irish immigrants. Real estate is his second career—one built on relationships, service, and a genuine desire to help people. He and his wife, Lisa, have built a life rooted in family, faith, and community.

The turning point that changed Joe’s professional path came unexpectedly at a homeowners association meeting, when someone told him he would make a great real estate agent. As Joe likes to say, “The rest is history.”

Joe is known for his servant’s heart and deep commitment to giving back. He spent six years on the Board of Directors at Mainstreet Organization of Realtors and has served on both the Government Affairs and Professional Standards Committees. He also serves as the Ward 3 Alderman for the City of Darien and is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Downers Grove.

When asked what fills his bucket, Joe’s answer is simple: giving back and enjoying life with friends. Outside of work and service, he has a lifelong love of baseball and music, and he is a proud supporter of his fellow alumni and the broader community at Brother Rice High School.

Joe’s approach to real estate is grounded in relationships, integrity, and conversation—not transactions. He believes real estate is ultimately about people and strives to put his servant’s heart to work in a meaningful way every day.
