We started the process of buying our first house almost a year ago now. We thought we would need months upon months of planning, learning everything there is to know about loans, preparing to work with a realtor, and preparing to stay sane during it all. Then we met Joel. He handed us all of that information we had been struggling with, and many things we still didn't know, the first time we met him. What we thought would take us a year was simplified into a few weeks (we had DRASTICALLY over estimated the time we needed to find our home). Even in the months we weren't actively searching, Joel kept us up to date with tips and fun conversation. When it came time to start touring prospective homes, Joel was there with years of experience pointing out not only the good and pretty things we saw, but anything and everything that might be of concern in our future home. Joel doesn't want to sell you a house; he wants to help you make an informed decision and guide you into a home you'll love. He may have been our realtor, but now we consider Joel a good friend.

Joel was extremely helpful in the experience of buying my first home. He is knowledgeable and if he didn't have an answer immediately available for me, he found out the answer to anything and everything I asked him. His responses were always timely, and he kept me up to speed with the break neck pace of the market without making me feel like he was trying to force me to buy a house. I honestly don't think there's a better realtor in Alabama, and should I ever need to buy another house, I will be using Joel again!
