John Barnak

John Barnak is a real estate broker, advisor, and investor with 14+ years of full-time experience helping sellers, buyers, and investors make confident, informed real estate decisions.

Over the course of his career, John has worked across nearly every angle of real estate from traditional home sales to investment acquisitions, brokerage leadership, and large-scale agent development. He has been directly involved in close to 100 real estate investment transactions, including deals he has personally completed and those he has helped other investors execute successfully.

John previously owned and operated his own brokerage and later served as Managing Broker at Real, where he spent more than 4.5 years leading and scaling the Illinois market. During that time, he helped grow the state's agent count from 30 to nearly 600, oversaw approximately $1 billion in closed sales, and managed more than 2,200 transactions in 2025 alone.

Today, John’s primary focus is working directly with home sellers and real estate investors who want clear guidance, honest strategy, and real-world experience behind every recommendation. While his background allows him to navigate virtually any real estate scenario, his passion lies in helping clients understand their options, avoid costly mistakes, and make moves that actually make sense.
