About John

John was born and raised in The San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, CA, and worked primarily in the construction industry for 25 years. He relocated to Sarasota with his wife Anja Buetergerds in 2006. He began working with Anja as her assistant in 2008-09 and by July 2009 had become a licensed REALTOR® in the state of Florida.

His education and background are construction based, working in project management, building construction, and interior kitchen design. Over time his experience working in the building industry led him to buy, sell, and invest in property for himself and his wife Anja. That in turn has grown into a passion for real estate and a natural progression toward becoming a REALTOR®. John says, "I love helping people and I love what I do.
