About John

John R. Grey, A.L.C., Broker – John, the youngest person to be licensed by the Florida Real Estate Commission, joined his father, James, at the family firm in 1964. John graduated from Gulf High School and completed real estate courses through the University of FL, the Real Estate Land Institute and continued his real estate education through numerous academic endeavors. He was awarded the Professional Designation of “Accredited Land Consultant #758” by the National Association of Realtors. With a focus on community service and nonprofit causes, as well as professional associations, such as Rotary, he maintains his passion for “Service” to his community. He was appointed by the Governor to serve as Pasco County Commissioner in 1983, he was appointed by the Governor to serve as Pasco County Commissioner and served on the first Save Our Rivers Committee of SWFWMD. Also, appointed the first lay-member of the FL Bar Association Grievance Committee – 6th Judicial District, and served on the first Pasco County School System Advisory Board.

John has received numerous awards recognizing his dedication in the real estate field. John was awarded Realtor Associate of the Year and Realtor of the Year by the West Pasco Board of Realtors. He has been named Rotarian of the Year and awarded the Paul Harris Fellowship Award by the New Port Richey Rotary Club. John accepted the New Port Richey Jaycees’ Distinguished Service Award and received the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce’s first Small Business Person of the Year Award and recognized as Eminent Pioneer .

John retains memberships in several trade organizations. He is a member and past President of the Florida Commercial Brokers Network; Member and past Director of the Florida Gulf Coast Commercial Association of Realtors; Member of the Florida Association of Realtors and the National Association of the Realtors; Member and past President and Director of the West Pasco Board of Realtors and remains a Member and achieved Accredited Land Consultant designation from the Realtors Land Institute.

John is an avid golfer, outdoorsman and family man. He and his wife, Sharon, have raised 2 daughters and now enjoy visits from their 5 grandchildren.
