John Gron isn't your average Realtor. Born in Abilene, Texas, he grew up in Chicago, Ohio, and Michigan, where he acquired his passion for historic and vintage homes. John attended Youngstown State University where he studied Commercial Art. After that, he graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma, majoring in Graphic Design, Marketing, and Publishing. He's also studied at Mills College in San Francisco with a particular emphasis on printing and publishing.
But that's not all - John is also a certified chef with the National Restaurant Association, with a focus on Italian cuisine. Prior to entering real estate, he worked as a chef at Lucianos in Austintown, Ohio, and spent 28 years at General Motors in various roles, from assembler to business communication integrator. He even worked for Dell as a Computer and Business Engineer Manager.
Yet, despite his diverse experience, John's true passion lies in antiques and art. As an avid collector - with expertise in antique wind-up phonographs and period furniture, with an emphasis on Renaissance Revival and George III - he's developed a keen eye for unique and valuable properties.

In addition to his real estate work, John is also an accomplished artist and graphic designer. His works have been shown at the Bliss Art Institute of YSU, the Butler Art Institute, and the Art Institute of Tokyo. He's also donated many paintings to benefit organizations such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and Positive Tomorrows.
