Recognized by his company as the the top Oak Island agent in 2006 through the present, John Hamilton has had many years of experience in the real estate industry from property management, rentals, personal investing, and sales and marketing. He was presented an award of excellence, and he continues that tradition with his clients today.
John began investing in Oak Island beach property in 1999. He bought his first home a few weeks before Hurricane Floyd and has since bought and sold many properties successfully. In addition, he has gone through the rough process of building an ocean front home. Knowledgeable about the many rules and regulations that accompany building in the coastal areas, John can guide you smoothly through the steps.

After many years of experience in managing his personal vacation rentals and in owning a property management company, John has the expertise to guide the investor, from the initial purchase to marketing for a successful rental income. A North Carolina native, John is a graduate of North Carolina State University in Raleigh where he majored in business and minored in biology. After completing his degree, John worked with the boating and recreational vehicle industry as a territory manager. In his spare time, John enjoys traveling, college basketball, soccer with his children, his church and investing in real estate.
