John’s career began in Corporate America as a byproduct of the Sales Division of Nutone, subsidiary of Scovil Manufacturing, based out of Massachusetts. He quickly elevated his sights to the opportunities of entrepreneurship and ethics in business. His first venture was creating, marketing, and defining distribution channels for vinyl records and cassette tapes.
After the energy crisis in the 1970’s, John’s entrepreneurial spirit brought forth the opportunity to manufacture and distribute Thermal vinyl replacement widows through Fashion Windows focusing on energy efficiencies. In the late 70’s John entered into the building industry, building over 100 residential properties in the Prince George’s County area. With a keen eye for assessing needs, John saw the potential for Commercial and Industrial Cleaning Products, through Commercial Builders within his network. This grew into a locally owned Chemical Manufacturing company.

His business acumen and strong sense of direction within different market segments has allowed him the opportunity to design and build ARAYBEAM Corporation to serve and give back to the Communities that he helped build. John has taken a sincere interest in the local and State governments and business improvement opportunities. He is a member of the Anne Arundel County Visitor’s Center and Solar Energy Industries Association.

John is also the Maryland Proprietor of the Annapolitan and Academy Bed & Breakfast in Historic Annapolis, MD for the last 17 years and member of the Maryland Hotel Lodging Association. John has achieved and maintained a real estate license for 40 years, in the State of Maryland. He is member of the National Association of Realtors, Maryland Association of Realtors and Anne Arundel Association of Realtors. He is currently pursuing his Associate Broker license in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. An avid sailor and local Annapolitan for over 30 years, he enjoys taking the local residents on Charters on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay. He is a ballroom dancer under special instruction with the esteemed Eddie Gooden, Derek Hough, as a Sandra Cope, and Miss Vicki from Northern Virginia.
