John Ludden

Equipped with a natural understanding of all that makes the Gulf Coast a beautiful place to live, John Ludden discovered real estate as a method of helping people while experiencing the unique architecture and design that defines the region. His roots may harken back to Nottinghamshire, England, but as a Southwest Floridian for nearly a quarter century, he has become a staple of the Sarasota, Venice, Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda communities and is known for his dynamic business acumen that blends compassion, practicality, professionalism and creativity.

Born to Irish parents, John is the youngest of seven children and had a strong work ethic as well as a fondness for one’s neighbor ingrained into his core from the beginning. Upon arrival to the Sunshine State in 1996, he embarked on a personal mission to enrich the lives within his local community by working for the Diocese of Venice in various management and administrative roles. In that time, he lived up and down the coast – including Sarasota, Marco Island, Port Charlotte and Naples – spearheading capital fundraising and building projects and discovering new ways to understand the needs of others. Additionally, he held trustee positions at a university, an institute of higher education and a major pension fund, and as Mission Director organized and led teams to bring relief to low-income individuals locally and globally.

John dedicates his life to finding ways to encourage comfort, support and success for those around him and feels his real estate journey is one more commitment to that promise. In combining passion and innate strategic thinking he positions buyers and sellers to not only achieve their goals but to fall in love with the neighborhoods and lifestyles they choose. Now living in the historic district of Punta Gorda, he remains active in local charities and causes while also taking the time to enjoy the scenic vistas and water life that grace Charlotte Harbor.

John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Theology from All Hallows Institution of Mission and Ministry in Dublin, Ireland and was a champion Irish step dancer before relocating Stateside. His six siblings are spread throughout England, Thailand and Australia and have equally impressive achievements on their resumes. His eldest brother is a Decorated Officer of the British Army and two of his sisters also hold championship Irish step dancing titles.
