John is the Founder and CEO of Lily Street Capital, a real estate investment and asset management company known for its creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and global value creation strategies. As a third-generation real estate professional, Mr. Mastrosimone has been mentored throughout his career by some of the most respected names in the business. He began his real estate career working on construction projects while in high school and became a licensed salesperson during college. For the past 15 years, Mr. Mastrosimone has gained extensive experience in a range of commercial real estate disciplines including, corporate portfolio management, land development, investment, finance, leasing and sales, and property management. He has distinguished himself as a competent leader with a keen ability to engage and motivate people to realize a collective vision of success.
Mr. Mastrosimone also serves as Chief Operating Officer of the family-owned Simone Realty, Inc. In this position, he is responsible for assessing new investment opportunities, setting performance goals, and providing guidance on strategic and tactical decisions. As COO, Mr. Mastrosimone has made a substantial impact on the performance of the company by streamlining many critical functions by implementing a best-practices portfolio management program. Working side-by-side with his father, the two-generation team remains focused on pursuing new development and investment opportunities for its own account as well as third-party investors. Simone Realty continues to be highly regarded for its integrity, quality of leadership and lasting achievements.
Mr. Mastrosimone demonstrates a strong commitment to his community as well as the real estate industry. He and his family support several non-profit organizations, including local hospitals and other charities such as the March of Dimes, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America, and the PANDAS Foundation. He is also proud to serve alongside the nations leading healthcare and real estate professionals as a member of the BOMA annual Medical Office Building and Healthcare Facilities Conference advisory board.
Mr. Mastrosimone holds a BS from St Joseph’s University where he majored in accounting and is an alumnus of the Harvard Graduate School of Design where he studied real estate investment management.
