John Sefton has been in Real Estate for more than 30 years and has received the coveted International Presidents Circle Award. He is originally from New Jersey, graduated from UC Berkeley, has a master's degree from UCSB, and pursued PhD studies at UCLA. He brings his learned approach to all his transactions, helping clients buy and sell their homes.
John is experienced in all aspects of residential sales. During his decades in the real estate business, he has amassed extensive expertise and honed his skills as a Broker. He has sold single family homes, condominiums, and townhomes. He is experienced in luxury transactions and is thoroughly familiar with the Walnut Creek, Lamorinda and Alamo markets.
John has represented buyers and sellers at all stages in their lives – from first-time home buyers to downsizing retirees – and is sensitive to the issues specific to each circumstance. He has also handled probate and trust sales.
John has been an East Bay resident for almost 40 years and has lived in both Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Since 1993, he has made his home in Lafayette, where, taking advantage of the community’s excellent school system, he and his wife Kim (also a Realtor) raised their 3 children.
John loves spending time with his family, hiking in the East Bay Regional Parks (accompanied by his 4 dogs) and playing chess at several local chess clubs in his spare time.
Over his years in the business, John has learned that each sale is unique but whatever the challenges of a given sale, John brings his years of experience, his commitment to his clients, his sensitivity to their needs, his problem-solving skills and his attention to detail to every transaction.
