John is happily married to Ginger who is a registered nurse and works at Mercy Medical Center in the emergency room in Durango. John met Ginger when he visited Pagosa for the first time in the fall of 1996. They were drawn to the beautiful fall colors and the majestic mountain peaks. So much so, they bought property and moved there for good in 1999 and built their dream home in 2001 on Village Lake.
They have three busy boys named Hunter, Nathan, and Johnathon. They keep them smiling as they watch them grow up here and participate in football, baseball, golf, AWANA, school and church plays, and fishing.
They are members of Centerpoint Church where John serves as a Deacon, the AWANA Commander, and enjoy singing with the Praise and Worship Team.
He enjoys many activities around the Pagosa area, including hiking, camping, fishing, golfing, biking, snow skiing, and an occasional dip in the hot springs.
He and his family love it there and enjoy the small town feel of Pagosa Springs, the hundreds of thousands of acres of National Forest in our back yard, the abundant wildlife, and friendly people.
