About John

I was born and raised in Cape Girardeau and currently reside in Cape with my wife (Kim) of 21+ years and our Freshman Max. I have always been an avid supporter of Cape Central & SEMO athletics... you've probably seen me at the tailgates and games.
I am also proud to serve as President of The United Way of Southeast Missouri Board of Directors. I enjoy coaching my son's youth sports teams, playing golf, cooking/grilling, and spending quality time with loved ones.

I stay very active in the community by volunteering with various organizations; in addition to the United Way Board, I serve on the Cape Girardeau Parks and Rec Advisory Board, I have been a mentor for Rust Media's "Next" project, I'm a volunteer Coordinator for the Muddy river Marathon Committee and I serve on the Government Affairs Committee for the SEMO Board of Realtors.

There is no better feeling than that of giving back to, and making a difference in the community that means so much to me and my family.

In 2020 I decided to dive headfirst into a career in Real Estate, obtained my license, joined Edge Realty (Realty Executives Edge at that time), and haven't looked back since. I have been blessed to meet, work with and befriend so many amazing people along the way. I am obviously passionate about helping my favorite teams and this community, but I am equally passionate about helping my clients. Whether it's making their home-ownership dreams come true for the first time or selling their former home to make a fresh start in a new home.

My slogan is "Pointing You Home", and that's exactly what I do for my clients, by guiding them through the entire process of buying or selling a home and I strive to continue that relationship for years to come.
