Where do I start? JEAN A is the BEST. He is EXCEPTIONAL! He listened to our wants/needs and was always accommodating to help us get what we desired. I was impressed with his level of knowledge and professionalism. I was able to find a property within 1 month of home shopping. For what I was looking for, it amazed me at how fast & efficient he was to help us find our HOME. He communicated with us frequently and made sure everything went smoothly.

I worked with John and his team to sell my house and the experience was amazing from start to finish. For starters, John was extremely responsive and gave us tips on how to best present our home for sale, including what color to paint some walls, how to stage the home, etc. Next he had a very open and candid conversation with me about the pricing of the home. List it too highly, he said, and the home wouldn't get any traffic. List it too low and it creates an anchor at which buyers aren't comfortable spending more. He then led a successful open house where he met the eventual buyer and agent (whom he knew and had a great relationship with). From there he negotiated the best possible terms and made the whole process a breeze. We listed the home for $329,999 and after a week on the market, we had numerous offers over list price before selecting it for $360,000. The home closed on time and I'm now onto the next stage, all thanks to John. Thank you!

John opened my eyes to the world of investments. Last year, after seeing how much success John had had in the investment world at such a young age, I approached him and asked him if he could help me purchase an investment property. John was immediately helpful. He spent a ton of time explaining how he judges an investment property - such as cash flow vs appreciation - how to leverage borrowing to increase your yield, and how to structure the deals to maximize the profit. He really opened my eyes to this world and made me think about the different ways there are to invest. John was always available, responded quickly and we truly felt attended to – this includes everyone on his staff as well. We also benefited from their network of vendors to help us with the closing process. This was invaluable information since they know everyone. From electrician to attorney, without exception, were professional, reliable, and able to schedule services promptly.

The marketing campaign was unbelievable! My house never looked so good. The buzz they generated resulted in 75 viewings in 4 days and over 2000 hits on the Internet. We received 12 legitimate offers; were in contract for a cash offer in 9 days and get this, sold for 65K over asking. We never, ever could have done this without them.

We first approached them with a tight timeline (one to two months) to vacate our rental property and find the right home for us. As first time home buyers during the pandemic market, we knew this was no easy feat.

They were quick to explain the process to us (via both educational materials and conversation) and took care to make sure our expectations were on the same page vs. the current market trends. They were available for phone calls and texts whenever we had questions, and were always quick to respond. This was especially helpful during the bid and closing process, where we often needed a quick answer or quick advice on next steps.

We tackled the house hunt together, sharing homes that fell within our price range, discussing the details of each, and deciding which homes were worth an in-person trip to see. During this process, John and Tim were able to learn about about our property likes/dislikes, which helped them narrow down listings for us to see. We felt no pressure to look at homes that were not right for us.

Tim was especially helpful with sorting out the fine details of each property. Things like utilities, school districts, taxes, layout, etc. When we went to see homes, Tim was prompt and made us feel at ease. He added a third, valuable perspective at each showing. It was just by accident that we met John (without any references) during our initial house hunt days. We are so glad that we met him. As someone who is a first time home buyer and having started the search during the pandemic days, it was very scary and confusing. But John made the process very educative and pleasant. After living in London for the past four years, John helped relocate me back to New Jersey. Before I even step foot in the United States, John and I had multiple phone calls where he took the time to really understand what I was looking for in a home / location.

When I landed, John took me around to multiple different homes all around New Jersey. He really gave me a sense for each township and their positives and negatives. We eventually decided on central NJ and after more conversations about the area, we landed on Robbinsville.

I would like to highly recommend John Terebey to anyone selling or buying a home. We listed our home in Plainsboro in the late Fall of 2019. He helped us with what needed to be done to upgrade the home we had lived in for 23 years. John was very conscious of what was needed to be done to maximize the value of our home. In addition, he connected us with all contractors. As both my husband and I worked away from the home at that time, I was traveling and my husband commuting to NYC, John met with all contractors, walked them through what needed to be done, got estimates, and coached us through the entire process. Everyone John connected us with was not only good value but did excellent work and were very reliable and trustworthy. We will use these contractors for our new home as well. John had a stager work with us who helped us stage the home and did a very professional photo and video shoot. The house looked fabulous. John was very aggressive in listing our home, holding open houses and pushing to sell our property at maximum value.
As the holidays approached, we took our home off the market and put it back on as soon as the market started moving. John stayed on top of the market and continued to advise us on the status of the market. This winter was a unique one with a new experience for us all. John stayed on top of the market and continued to advise us on what to do with pricing and showings. Once we sold the house, John was, once again on top of required inspections, Township filings etc. and supported us throughout the process. John is always available and even helped us move furniture as it got closer to closing.

I would highly recommend John to anyone selling or buying a home. He is very dedicated, honest and driven to maximize the value created on the sale. He was very flexible and invested in helping stage and prepare our home for sale. He was always around when needed and coordinated all the work we had done on the house, as we were never available during work hours. He was always available to lend a helping hand. I would like to strongly recommend John Terebey for selling and buying your house. John was recommended by our mortgage broker and after our first interaction I was immediately impressed by John’s knowledge of the real estate market, passion and dedication. The next few months between the time we started the process of looking for a house and selling our house cemented my initial assessment. John has unbound energy and he can have a conference call with you very late at night. John has a great quality that he can calm you when there are issues in the transaction. John brings with him a team of dedicated professionals that handle everything you need from staging your house, offering advice for setting up the house and making repairs. John has taken us to many appointments when we didn’t know what exactly we were looking for and helped us narrow down our choices. He also helped us with making the offers and negotiating the buying of our current house and selling our former house.
John was always available for us to take a call at any time (even very late at night, after 10pm) and answer our questions during contract negotiations. I felt that John would never let you down even in the direst of circumstances. We had a very complicated buying / selling contingency transaction in which we had to navigate a difficult buying process and also delays in selling our property. I cannot thank John and his team enough for the job he did in the last days of our transactions when we had to move our closing day a couple of times and we had to deal with moving our things with a tight deadline. John pushed to have the deal close in time and managed to save us thousands of dollars in fees.
John has a lot of contractors at hand for every need, starting from various repairs, assessing the house you are buying, inspections, to list just a few.
John is bringing a lot of experience that he accumulated while apprenticing from a young age. What impresses me is his breadth of knowledge of the market, laws, regulations, and a wide knowledge of the network of contractors for every need.
John helped us move things in the last second on his own, managing to save a lot of money and work for us. Right before closing our movers didn’t want to pick up our plants, including some potted trees. We had a big garden with more than 15 big potted trees. John came with a truck and moved them himself. He had a showing within an hour, and he managed to physically move big potted trees / plants to put them in the truck. I really think no other real estate agent would do what John did for us in the last second.
I highly recommend John for any real estate transaction that one would need.

We feel that John is all you need to purchase your perfect home! For first-time home buyers like us, John takes in the requirements through initial dialogue and gets us to multiple open-houses as well as pre-scheduled house visits to further refine what he needs to search for us. He figured out what we were looking for in under 10 home visits and in about a month we had identified the property we were slowing zeroing in on!! All along John was patient and understanding enough to explain the pros and cons of each of the properties as well as what is the core set of features / must-haves that we should be looking for. To support the process, he has an entire team of people that can assist with the various stages of the home buying – right from home inspectors, attorneys and mortgage providers. Last October 2013 you recommended an ERA Real Estate Agent to me, Maryan Giachetti. You told me she was very knowledgeable about the Georgetowne condos one of which I wanted to sell. What you didn’t tell me is what an amazing Agent Maryan is. She was absolutely in tune with what would sell my house, her promotion was spot on and her advice to me concise and kind.

We experienced an immediate response to the listing, however, it failed to go through. A few more failed sales followed. She got people to view my house through one of the coldest winters I can remember… and the snow.
Maryan never let up, never gave up and encouraged me not to be disappointed. She was on top of the listing and always responsive and available.

In the midst of selling my house, I asked Maryan to find a house for me in the Clearbrook community. I was working with another Agent, but was very discouraged.
