After spending 30+ years as a leader in the hospitality industry, John understands the importance of personal connections and has brought that same level of commitment to providing quality customer service to his real estate business. He understands the importance of clear communication, a high sense of urgency and has an unparalleled ability to connect with people and make them feel comfortable. Born and raised in the DC Metropolitan area, John moved to Charleston with his wife of 32 years and together they have 4 children. John thoroughly enjoys spending time with family, golf, live music and anything on the water. He also enjoys giving back to the community and has been involved with St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program, and has been a member of the Exchange Club of Charleston since arriving to the low country.

Since joining Matt O’Neill Real Estate, John is member of both the residential and commercial teams. His past experience in business as Director of Real Estate and Development and Director of Marketing have provided him the knowledge and life experiences to become highly skilled in negotiations and building long standing relationships. He is passionate about real estate and finding his clients their perfect property.
