About Johnny

Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads are great places to live and work, which is why Johnny chooses to call it home. Johnny grew up in a Navy family moving every three years until settling in the Great Bridge district of Chesapeake in 1994.
Real estate is a passion for Johnny, and with his background in management, sales and customer service, it is easy to see why hundreds of families have called Johnny for help buying and selling. Johnny joined the eXp Realty family in 2020, but has been a full-time agent since 2018. He has a fun, outgoing presence that makes every home moving journey simple and enjoyable. Johnny has served in his local church, Ascent Church, and loves being a part of other Virginia Beach community events.

Johnny worked with us first in March 2020 to find a home in Portsmouth in the early stages of the planned-emic on a very urgent basis, then entertained sporadic messages for the next 2-1/2 yrs as we hoped to find another more suitable home. Finally in February 2023, he helped us sell that home and buy another in the Williamsburg area. He was patient with my literally endless questions, explaining the same things several times to be sure we understood the minute details of the process, while advising us and warning us of potential pitfalls. In the end, it felt more like a friendship than a business deal. Hopefully we can keep in touch from that aspect even when we’re not buying or selling. Bottom line: Johnny knows real estate, and we’re very grateful he stuck with us through it all.

I met Johnny 3 years ago when I first moved to Virginia. He is now more of my friend than my realtor. We have been looking for a home for the past three years. With the market as crazy as it has been and all the Covid craze, it’s been difficult. But Johnny never gave up and maintained his enthusiasm throughout the years. We just closed on a house this week. He stuck it out with me for the long haul with no discouragement. Even when I was less hopeful, he helped me through. I’m so fortunate to have met him it has made the whole experience so much better. Thanks Johnny!
