Joi Edmonds

Joi Edmonds is a dynamic and knowledgeable full-time real estate agent with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices (BHHS) The Preferred Realty, Squirrel Hill office. In the Fall of 2021, Joi decided she wanted to grow her business by forming the Joi Edmonds Group and together gearing to be one of the top real estate teams in Western PA.

Joi is a real estate broker candidate, preparing to sit for the real estate broker’s exam in December 2022. Before forming her team, Joi had sold over six million dollars of real estate throughout the Pittsburgh and its surroundings, during a global pandemic advancing her to the BHHS TPR President's Circle. An award given to the top 7% of BHHS real estate agents nationally, as well as being named a Top 200 Sales Associate monthly. Joi was a mentor with BHHS New Agent Mentor Program and had over twelve mentees assigned to her. In 2020, she became a licensed Real Estate Educator teaching pre-license courses to individuals who want to get into the real estate profession. Most recently, she earned the following national premier designations, the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) ® and Sellers Representative Specialist (SRS) ® the benchmarks for excellence in real estate.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh - Main Campus, a Master of Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in School Counseling, Joi has spent the past 20 years helping people improve their lives and real estate is just another way to do that. Although she doesn't practice any longer, she has an active life insurance license. She is licensed in five states previously helping individuals and families with their life insurance needs. Prior to that, Joi was the owner of N-Joi Event Planning & Staffing Services. N-Joi outsourced waitstaff and bartenders to various clientele and event centers within the City of Pittsburgh and its surrounding communities. N-Joi supplied corporate event staffing service to The National Aviary, The Children’s Museum and August Wilson Center to name a few.

She was born and raised in the Manchester community of Pittsburgh and now lives in Pittsburgh’s East Suburb. She has raised two beautiful adult children Kelcei J. and J. Brannon Tindal. When not selling real estate, Joi likes to spend her time traveling, listening to live music and surrounding herself with positive people. Joi is a member of the National Association of Realtors ®, Realtors ® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
