About Jon

Dedication to client service is what drives Jon Sellers. In every position, over a more than 20-year career, he understood the value of keeping his promises, and that doing what you say means something in business. This commitment is rare these days, but to Jon Sellers, it is his most important asset.
After beginning a career as a senior valuation analyst for Invesco Funds, in 2006, he transitioned into commercial real estate where he led both The National Realty Group (TNRG) and MHW Real Estate in developing multiple asset classes including Industrial, Retail, and Residential developments for a combined 14 years with over $450 million in development sales and brokerage across the Houston and Conroe areas.
Currently, as the president and founder of Cobalt Commercial Real Estate, Jon acts as the broker of record and develops larger-scale sale, lease, and build-to-suit projects. He has been a part of over one million square feet of development projects while owning and managing buildings throughout the Houston area. Jon's passion is to help businesses with their commercial real estate decisions and develop financial business analysis of how these real estate decisions impact business and investment. His commitment to his client relationships is paramount and will not be sacrificed for anything.
Jon is a Certified Public Accountant and a Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants member. Jon is a graduate of Texas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He has a double major in Accounting and Real Estate Finance.
