About Jonathan

Born and raised in Iowa City, I have a deep connection to the community I serve. No matter where life has taken me, this has always been home. I attended Mark Twain and Lucas Elementary Schools, City High School, and the University of Iowa before leaving for graduate school and later spending several years in Chicago and Corvallis, Oregon.

Those experiences — buying, selling, and relocating across different cities — gave me firsthand insight into how exciting, and at times overwhelming, a move can be. Returning to Iowa City in 2019 reinforced how special this area is and deepened my commitment to helping others navigate their transitions with clarity and confidence.

My experience purchasing a home with Jonathan Fell's assistance was outstanding! I moved from Wisconsin to Iowa, so his knowledge of city, county and state real estate laws was extremely helpful to me. He was always available to answer questions, is detail-oriented, and having grown up in Iowa City, knows the area like only a native can.

Better still, he is kind, and has a great personality and sense of humor. Without a doubt, he will make a house purchase or sale -- an admittedly stressful process -- enjoyable and worry-free.

Finally, as the son of a building contractor, he has the ability to put any potential repairs/flaws in perspective and is especially skillful in preparing an offer and negotiating a final contract that strongly benefits his client.
