A seasoned broker associate with the South Tampa office of Premier Sotheby's International Realty, Jonathan Golby's award-winning real estate background spans more than 25 years and several states. He is a member of Greater Tampa REALTORS® and is a certified At Home With Diversity specialist, Military Relocation Professional, and e-PRO® technology professional.
Originally from Ohio, Jonathan began his real estate career as a college marketing intern for a high-volume agency, just as marketing and associates' personal websites were evolving. While still in college, he obtained his Ohio REALTOR® license, and worked as an assistant for a sales associate specializing in luxury real estate. Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance, with a minor in German and marketing, from Ohio's University of Toledo, and a Master of Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
After college, Jonathan moved back to his hometown of Hudson, where he worked for a national real estate company before trading in Ohio's harsh winters for Tampa's year-round sun. Expanding his real estate career to the Tampa Bay area, Jonathan worked for two national companies, constantly ranking among the top-producing associates, before partnering with Premier Sotheby's International Realty.
As your proactive, trusted real estate advisor, Jonathan is constantly learning and evolving to the current market trends. He is a skilled negotiator and has built his business on setting expectations for his customers so that they are aware of what will happen during every step in the process. By listening first and talking second, Jonathan has honed his communication skills, allowing him to be level-headed and finding creative solutions in even the tensest of situations.
A resident of St. Petersburg, Jonathan often indulges in outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, kayaking, and boating. He is an active volunteer for many local cancer charities, and enjoys working out, traveling, cruising, and escaping to the mountains for a weekend getaway.
