Joni joined the Tomlinson Sothebys International Realty family in August 2020, and she is pleased to have settled into the Sandpoint office and worked with the team there. She has enjoyed some beautiful successes (and delighted clients) this past year and looks forward to expanding her reach here in the Northern Idaho counties. Several years ago--after her last child moved out on her own--Joni moved with her husband (and her 8 lb Morkie) to beautiful Garfield Bay from the Puget Sound area where she had been working the previous 13 years as Delilahs (the radio personality) Personal Assistant. While working for Delilah, some of her duties included developing, designing, and managing an event center as well as several rental and vacation properties--all of which experienced significant growth and success under her management. Jonis's interaction with community leaders, the Chamber of Commerce, and various business associations gave her an insider's perspective into how communities can come together to effect positive change and development within their towns while preserving their unique characters and charm. Before her years with Delilah, she spent seven years as an HR Rep at Weyerhaeuser's Corporate Headquarters and many years in local church ministries. Due to all those experiences, she has developed the ability to relate well to various personality types. She genuinely enjoys working with people and developing meaningful and long-lasting relationships, which has been one of her real strengths. Joni places great importance on being an individual of excellent character and integrity and strives to provide the best customer service at all times--no matter who the customer might be (i.e., a client, co-worker, broker, affiliated realty resources, a new agent...pretty much everyone). Because Joni was a recent transplant from out-of-state, she has a special understanding of--and affinity with--folks who are making a major transition to Northern Idaho and all the unique needs a move like that entails. She has developed strategies to assist her out-of-state clients as they search for a home and property that would best meet their specific needs. In addition, she is passionate about doing all that she can to minimize the stress and to make a move as easy--and as positive--as possible once they arrive. She gets it. She knows what a transition like this means, and she will work her hardest to find you your dream home and then provide you with the information and resources you will need to get off to a good start. Joni is not intimidated by a challenge; she will work very hard to find the best Idaho home possible, give you her all, and be kind, gracious, and professional; you can count on it!!
