Jose Luis grew up in Southern California where his love of the ocean influenced his decision to graduate from SDSU with a BS in Biology, Marine Emphasis. He supported himself through college as a commercial diver and deckhand on sport-fishing boats. Now, living in Cambria, he is grateful every day for the extraordinary beauty, the quality of life, the fresh air, the slower pace, the available wilderness areas and the surrounding nature of the Central Coast. Every day when he walks out his front door he feels like he’s on vacation!
Jose Luis has personally bought and sold a number of properties in California. He also developed a small parcel of land in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where he sold lots and homes. While in Cabo, he built and sold two successful, international businesses in the tourism industry where he fine tuned his marketing skills.
