About Joseph

Joe Esselman is the president and managing broker at Penn Real Estate. After a highly successful career at Inland Real Estate Sales, Inc., he founded Penn to ensure that each of his clients receives the attention and service that they deserve.

Joe has facilitated more than $100 million worth of commercial real estate transactions. He has experience with multi-family investments, retail leasing and sales, tenant/buyer representation, and industrial disposition. This varied background allows him to successfully broker projects of all sizes and values. He is a critical partner in the deal-making process. He serves on the board of directors of the Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce as well as Morgan Park Beverly Hills Business Association. Over the course of his career, Joe has also given his time to the Urban Land Institute, Real Estate Investment Association, and the Chicago Apartment Association.

A graduate of Loyola University Chicago, he lives in Chicago with his wife and four children.
