Joseph Toto

Since 2013 Joe Toto has helped families and business owners in the Mahoning Valley buy and sell property.  

Joe grew up in the Valley.  He graduated from Niles McKinley High School in 1988 and went on to graduate from Kent State University's Honors College, Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA, taking all of his classes at the Trumbull campus.  His bachelor of arts degree in English and minor in Philosophy focused on three elements: close reading and understanding of difficult texts, problem solving, and ethics.

Joe has owned and operated several successful area business.  When he was twenty-five years old, Joe created Fisher Cleaning, a commercial cleaning company specializing in restaurants, with his business partner, Doug Fisher.  They started the business with $100 and a vacuum cleaner and grossed $140,000 their first year in business with $42,000 net profit and twelve employees on two crews.  Joe went on to create Joe's Carryout Delivery (a precursor to Grub Hub and Uber Eats) and Global-Invisible Marketing (a marketing company for regional musical acts).

In 2009 Joe played in integral role in opening the Down Syndrom Association of the Valley's (DSAV) Center for Success in Boardman, Ohio--the first center of its kind in the region.  Joe wrote the grant proposal that secured the funds needed to open the center.

Joe went on to co-found the Niles McKinley Drama Boosters—a 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to supporting the high school drama program at Niles McKinley High School.  Serving one year as vice president and four years as president and executive director gave him the opportunity to work closely with the theatre program as well as with the school system in creating a grassroots fundraising organization to support the program.
