Josh Gainer

With an adventurous spirit, Josh has lived up and down the West Coast and briefly in Italy. Raised in Boise, Idaho, Josh is drawn to the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the uniqueness of Portland, where he eventually found his home.

From an early age, Josh developed a fondness for home remodeling while assisting his father with various projects. After earning economics degrees from the University of Washington (bachelor’s) and Cal Poly Pomona (master’s), Josh worked in finance and asset management for several years. Josh was thrilled to join The Dirk Hmura Team to grow relationships with buyers and explore the charming diversity of Portland’s neighborhoods.
