When the decision was made We needed to put our house on the market for sale my sister recommended her realtor joy basher Downey with Samsung properties .I called joy And she came to my house and was well prepared. Joy talked about the area sales and how it was and how and what we needed to do to get our house sold for the best sale price.We did everything Joy asked us to do. Don't you know our home sold for the exact price projected and within the timeframe she said it would sell.l wasn't sure she could be so accurate, but Joy's research and area sales proved itself.

The very first time I called joy for a property to rent she was so very helpful. Although we did not get the property that she had for rent but she did everything she could to find us a house to rent. And when we were trying to look for a house it was at the worst possible time because houses went up for rent and they were taken right out from under us. But she did not give up and finally found a house for us and we were so happy and she just went out of her way to make sure we got a house that we were happy with. Always with a smile on her face and happy to do whatever we needed she went above and beyond. I’d recommend her for anybody that’s trying to rent a house or sell a house. When I first met Joy Basher Downey we hit it off like we’ve known each other for a very long time her warm approach and understanding nature made me feel like she really listened To what my family was looking for. We listened to the advice Joy offered and in the end, Joy went the extra mile in making sure we were happy with her decision on our new home. I could not of asked for a better realtor to have come into our lives. I was just telling my husband, “I don’t know how we got to be so lucky when we found Joy.” Joy lives up to her name!

We were introduced to Joy in July of 2011. We came with a whole list of demands and I was pregnant with twins so we had a tight time line we had to hit. Joy had us in our dream home before the end of September. She was amazing! She makes you not only feel like a well taken care of client but also like family. She will go above and beyond to make sure that all your needs are fullfilled. It also put us at ease knowing that she has been in the business for quite a while so she was familiar with all the ins and outs of the market. So far I have sent my parents and my best friend to her to find them a house...my best friend move in my neighboorhood this month...need I say more!

I chose Joy because our neighbors bought their home using her and they had a wonderful experience! I was a first time home buyer so I had a million questions and concerns and frequently stressed out about everything and Joy was amazing, she led me through the entire process and handled unexpected problems immediately. I have had the pleasure to work with Joy in helping us secure a property a couple of years ago – May 2010. I was referred to her by the BB&T bank which incidentally owned the property. She is the best thing that happened to us on that deal. Joy is a true professional who went the extra mile (more like hundred miles for us) to ensure that we closed on the deal.
