About Joy

I have been selling real estate in the Crosslake, Brainerd Lakes, Whitefish Chain area for 36 years. I was originally introduced to our beautiful lakes area when I began spending time at my grandparent’s cabin on Lake Ossawinnamakee in 1962. While I was growing up, my family enjoyed their summer vacations and numerous weekends each year at the lake. I moved to the area as a full time resident in 1976 to work at the family business - Norway Ridge Supper Club in Ideal Corners, where my parents owned and operated the restaurant from 1972-1977. My husband Stan and I live on Lower Whitefish Lake of the Whitefish Chain. There are many complexities to buying and selling a property today. My experience, attention to detail, and meeting the needs of my clients insures a smooth, stress free transaction. I believe there is no compromising on quality of service! I bring competence and professional expertise backed by 36 years of real estate experience to each transaction. Service is essential to both buyer and seller satisfaction and I will be there to assist you every step of the way. The majority of my business comes from past clients and referrals from satisfied people. I produce multi-million dollar sales annually. In 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2019 I was a member of the RE/MAX 100 Percent Club, only 22% percent of 1,436 RE/MAX North Central associates in Minnesota achieved the 100% Club level for sales in a single year. In 2019 I received The RE/MAX Hall of Fame award. In 2019 and 2020 I was the Top Producing Agent in our Crosslake office. Also in 2020 I received the Platinum award. I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Minnesota Association of Realtors, the Greater Lakes Association of Realtors. I sell family fun and treasured lifetime memories.
