Joy loves living and working in the Verde Valley area where she enjoys being close to nature, surrounded by good neighbors and friends. As a person who naturally shares her experiences of helping others, nothing thrills her more than seeing a big, bright smile bloom upon my client’s face when they have completed a transaction to their greatest satisfaction.
A brief glimpse into her background: she was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. She majored in International Trading with a Bachelor of Economics and Business Administration. Working for one of the top trading companies in Korea provided many opportunities to work overseas with buyers, factories, and vendors from both the east and west. It was in this position that I garnered my fair, but firm, negotiation skills and solid work ethic.
Joy first visited Sedona in the year 2000 and was so touched by the beauty and the community that it piqued her interest in health and mindful living. Deciding to make a change and settle in this majestic town in 2004, she transitioned to managing a camping facility, a retail store, a cafe, and was involved in construction and remodeling. Being involved with the various Real Estate development projects and people around town brought such a new dimension knowledge to her that she decided to learn every aspect of the industry and become a REALTOR® in 2012. Currently, she works for Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty and has had the pleasure of developing many strong relationships working in construction and development over the years in Sedona, Village of Oak Creek & Cottonwood. She continues to be engaged in tracking with the residential market in her Sedona office, while enjoying life on a beautiful ranch in Camp Verde, with seven horses, four dogs, and six chickens.
