Serving the Washington D.C. and Maryland Metropolitan Area, Julia has over thirty-five years of experience as one of the area’s leading real estate professionals. She has sold in excess of $2B+ in properties during the course of her career.
Born in Havana, Julia’s family immigrated to the United States when she was young. Julia has spent many years of her life in Washington D.C, Madrid, Spain, and Miami, Florida. Prior to becoming an agent, Julia attended Trinity College for her undergraduate degree and Georgetown to pursue studies in history. While in Miami, Julia Diaz-Asper ran the family real estate business. This experience prompted her to become an agent after her move to D.C.
Combining her love of architecture and desire to help people, Julia is proud to have turned her passions into a thriving real estate career. Through pure grit and determination, she is one of the top producing agents for her brokerage and is one of the top 1% of Realtors nationwide.
Dedicated and tenacious, Julia works tirelessly to advocate for her clients. As an area transplant herself, she understands the many struggles that come with relocating to a new are. Julia has an extensive background working with clients for all over the world, including Latin America, Europe, the Asian Corridor, and the Middle East. As a result, she has built a sustainable business, where the majority of her clients are either referrals or repeat clients. She specializes in residential and commercial real estate, working with buyers and sellers. She also has represented developers with multiple projects in the DC area.
Julia is a community advocate and dedicates much of her time to different committees. She serves as FAMA Museum board which is part of the Organization of the American States. She also serves as the community Block Captain for the Citizens Association of Georgetown for her neighborhood. While presently serving as chair of the board, Julia was the driving force in creating ‘Friends of Book Hill Park,’ an organization composed of neighbors who are dedicated to restoring and cleaning historic Book Hill Park behind Georgetown library.
When she isn’t conducting real estate transactions or serving her community, you can find Julia in her garden or entertaining guests. She is a true classic chef getting her inspiration from her international background and adventures. Julia shares a passion for art and is a passionate supporter of local artists.
