Raised in a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama, Julie went on to live in Atlanta, GA, for 20 years before moving to Longboat Key in 2001. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Julie also holds a Master of Business Education in Finance from Georgia State University. Outside of real estate, Julie is an active advocate for children and adults with disabilities, serving as the Director of the Conductive Education Center of Sarasota-Bradenton since 2010, and previously on the board of Instride Therapy, Inc., a therapeutic horseback riding non-profit. She also serves the local community as a member of the Junior League of Sarasota and volunteers with the Mote Marine Sea Turtle Program. Married to Paul for 21+ years, Julie has one teenage son, three grown stepchildren and seven wonderful grandchildren
