Raised in a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama, Julie went on to live in Atlanta, GA, for 20 years before moving to Longboat Key in 2001. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Julie also holds a Master of Business Education in Finance from Georgia State University. Outside of real estate, Julie is an active advocate for children and adults with disabilities, having served as the Director of the Conductive Education Center of Sarasota-Bradenton for many years, and previously on the board of Instride Therapy, Inc., a therapeutic horseback riding non-profit. She also volunteers with the Mote Marine Sea Turtle Program and the Mote Education Program. Julie is a big college and NFL football fan. She is an avid Peloton cyclist and likes Pilates and golf. Julie has one young adult son, three grown stepchildren and seven wonderful grandchildren.
