I have been a renter in Flagstaff for over 25 years and I knew it would be tough to find a place to buy. Rudy Carrillo worked with me on two separate home offers. Both of which I had to cancel upon inspection. Neither of which were his properties. Despite these two failed attempts to purchase, Rudy stayed professional and resilient with me. Ultimately, I did not end up purchasing a home through a realtor, but through the process of two offers and two inspections with Rudy, I learned a lot about how Rudy conducted himself, what I was looking for and what to avoid in a property. As a cis unmarried woman of middle age, Rudy was not patronizing or overprotective. He was a cautious advisor, a diligent investigator for finding contractors and repairmen, and the inspector we worked with made a great impression on me. Both Rudy (the realtor) and Jon (the home inspector) genuinely seemed to hold respect for my capacity to make decisions, having faith that I would use the full complement of information they were able to provide me as well as my own life experiences to make good decisions. It was a relationship of trust that I appreciated. Ultimately I bought through a lien auction and was able to get a great deal on a "fixer-upper" without Rudy's help but he was completely professional and understanding when I told him. From our first meeting to our last interaction, Rudy has been a quality human being. I would recommend Rudy to anyone looking for a home in Flagstaff. Thanks, Rudy!

Justin Bemis was introduced to us by a friend of ours in Hawaii. We were in search for a house in Flagstaff and he made sure we went through every possible house listing that met our requirements. He took us to many neighborhoods and all over town to make sure we found the right home. There were times where we were 10-30 minutes late, but he remained very professional and kind. Patience, charisma, reliability, and a hard worker is what we look for in a real estate agent and we found all of that in Justin. I’m not sure I’ve ever met anyone who is as good at their respective job as Justin Bemis is at real estate. And for context, I’ve met LeBron James before. As first-time home buyers, we had the unfortunate timing of attempting to purchase during the craziest sellers’ market the country has ever seen. I did a lot of research about the process ahead of time, but the thing is, those articles and posts were already a couple of years old, which made them entire irrelevant. Everything that people thought they knew about real estate two years ago was thrown out the window with the pandemic and the historically low interest rates. Luckily, we had Justin who was 100% on top of all the latest trends, issues, facts and figures. He was excellent in every way, but there are two things about Justin that really stood out to me. The first is that I never imagined how above and beyond he would go to assist us. He made sure we were the first ones seeing a house, the first ones offering on it, and was unbelievably responsive and communicative with us the entire time. I know he had plenty of clients during the process but it truly felt like we were the only ones. The second thing that stood out to me is how his mind, knowledge and experience were all dead set on giving us every possible advantage as a buyer. I’m the type of person that if I’m going to do something, I’m going to do it right in every way, and Justin was the exact same, so it was a perfect fit. If you want the best in the business, don’t even think about using anyone else. All the other agents know Justin and know he will get the deal done, so you have an inherent advantage by just using him alone. He helped us land our dream home in such a crazy market. I could easily go on forever but I’ll just stop there—just get in touch with Justin, it’s a no-brainer and you won’t regret it.

My husband and I worked with Justin to buy a property in Flagstaff. We had absolutely no knowledge of the Flagstaff real estate market before we met Justin. Justin was extremely responsive, and he provided us with a really good overview of the market even before we set foot in Flagstaff. While in Flagstaff, Justin provided a comprehensive overview of the entire city including the pros and cons of living in different areas. He showed us all of the available houses and properties, and connected us with a builder.

By the end of house hunting trip, we felt we had enough info to buy a piece of property. Justin helped us negotiate, helped us secure a survey of the property in record time, and helped us through a pretty tricky closing process.

We were extremely pleased with our experience with Justin, and we would highly recommend him.

We recently moved to Flagstaff from the valley and Justin was with us every step of the way. I contacted Justin just over a month and a half ago just looking for information on a property. He contacted me on his way to Costa Rica. He stayed in contact with me the entire time he was there. He was always available via telephone or email and his response time is ridiculously fast. We found the house that we wanted pretty quickly and Justin always made himself available anytime we needed to come see it including late at night. During the process of buying our house in Flagstaff we were also selling a house in the valley. Justin answered some questions about the sale of our house when I wasn't able to get ahold of our real estate agent in the valley. Justin is an amazing person with a fantastic personality and an even more amazing work ethic. He has a real go get 'em/get it done attitude and mentality that I totally appreciated and admired through the process. I also need to add that his professionalism is outstanding! I called him in a "mood" one day and he handled it in stride(I did apologize)😁 Even after our purchase I've called him with questions and he's still right there! I cannot recommend him highly enough! He's awesome and you will not be sorry you chose him!

UPDATE: 7 months after purchasing that house we needed to sell it and move back to the valley for medical reasons. Justin was my first call when we decided to move. He was on it! He had photos done very quickly and had our house listed within an hour after I gave him the green light to list. We only had a few viewings but he got us top dollar! If you're thinking of moving to or from Flagstaff Justin is your guy! He was absolutely amazing the second go round! I still cannot recommend him highly enough. Justin thank you for everything, but especially for being such a rad human!

After nine years in the Bakken oilfield it was time to come home. I first started talking with Justin at the first of the year, over the course of six months he sent a constant stream of listings. He called periodically to check in on my progress, yet gave me enough room that I didn't feel pressured or burdened. He was ALWAYS respectful of my crazy oilfield hours... Upon my arrival in AZ I continued my search, Justin was always right there when I had questions or needed info on a property! He never left me in limbo on any inquiries, if the listing agent didn't answer their phone (this is a constant in Flagstaff, but not with Justin) he would call back almost immediately and let me know what was happening. Justin goes above and beyond. Period. We were moving to Flagstaff, AZ from out of state and contacted him last minute. He squeezed us in and spent basically two full days with us, showing us a ton of homes that he lined up with very little advance notice from us. He worked hard and was very communicative with us and the seller agents and all other parties (inspector, home owners, lender, etc). He shared his personal observations in a respectful way to help us consider things we were not thinking about. We had our two young children with us which was a bit more stressful but he was always very patient with us and them and they loved 'Mr. Justin.'
