When I relocated to the South Hill area with my husband and two young sons, our move went as smoothly as it could have, until a dispute between our developer and township postponed our move-in date for nearly a year. During that time, I scrambled to find and extend our temporary housing, haggled with our storage/moving company and spent almost every weekend looking for a new home on the market.

Living through the relocation process not only taught me how to advocate for me and my family, but also enlightened me on the emotional roller-coaster that can go along with the home buying and   building experience.
