About Kandi

Kandi is a proud native of Hendersonville, NC. She attended Appalachian State University, where she met her husband. After moving around for 12 years, they returned home and have never looked back. They feel so blessed to be able to raise their two children in this beautiful mountain town!

She grew up on what is a still thriving apple farm and couldn't be more proud to be a farmer’s daughter. Her family now owns Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards in Hendersonville, a destination winery and tasting room, which allows them to maintain their connection with the land.

She is also passionate about giving back to the community. From chairing the premier fundraiser for Pardee Hospital Foundation to being on the executive committee that started the Women United initiative for the United Way, she chooses to use her voice to serve. She’s also volunteered with The Boys and Girls Club, Camplify, and Helping Hands. Their small town is full of big givers of time and talent, and they are lucky to live in a place like this.

As a family, they love to soak up everything these majestic mountains have to offer. Hiking, biking, eating great food, or just strolling through their neighborhood in Laurel Park, they never take for granted what Western North Carolina has to offer.
