Meet Kara, the newest member of the McKenzie Holderman Group! Kara is a dynamic and innovative REALTOR® known for her exceptional customer service and genuine relationships with her clients & colleagues.


As a State College native, Kara has deep roots in the local community and a wealth of knowledge about the area's real estate market. Kara is both a State High & Penn State Alum, with degrees in Psychology & Anthropology. She began her real estate career in San Francisco at a boutique brokerage specializing in multi- family acquisitions and luxury leasing. Kara is licensed in Pennsylvania and California and has connections to realtors around the globe (aiding her clients whether they’re moving across the street or across the ocean).


After spending 5 years in the Bay Area, Kara returned to Happy Valley because she truly believes it's the best place on earth to call home! Leveraging her experience in Silicon Valley luxury markets, she incorporates industry-leading technology and digital marketing strategies to give her clients the ultimate edge. Kara has experience with investment properties, leasing & property management, relocation, first-time homebuyers, downsizing, as well as short-term rental properties locally & abroad.
