About Kara
Kara Pierce, Realtor and CEO of Kara Pierce & Associates
In her 12 years of being a real estate professional, Kara has been decorated with various awards, featured in countless books, magazines, podcasts & YouTube channels, and asked to speak in national conventions. She owns multiple residential, multifamily, and commercial properties throughout the country, and is the lead of the nationally recognized Kara Pierce Group. Kara has been listed as one of America's Top 100 Real Estate Agents® multiple years in a row and continues to be recognized as the cream of the crop in the industry.
In 2017, Kara was nationally recognized as “30 under 30” by the National Association of Realtors and was featured on the cover of REALTOR Magazine. In 2019, she was internationally recognized on the cover of Keller Williams OutFront magazine in the Brave Ones Edition. In 2020, she won Harrisburg Magazine ‘Simply the Best’ in 2 categories: Best Real Estate Agent and Best Real Estate Team. Kara has consistently ranked as the #1 top-performing agent in Closed Units, Volume, and Listings taken as a single agent during her tenure at her previous brokerage, achieving this distinction for several consecutive years. She has also recently been honored with the prestigious Icon Agent award at her current brokerage. With over a third of $1 Billion in sold volume since she began with a toddler on her hip, Kara continues to rack up distinctions.
Fluent in 3 languages, Kara immigrated to the U.S. in 1993 when her father, a Colonel in the Korean Army, was stationed as a weapon’s liaison at the Defense Logistics Agency in New Cumberland, PA. Kara went from knowing two English words ("thank you") to graduating 3rd in her class from Cumberland Valley High School, concertmaster of the orchestra, and the captain of the Varsity Tennis Team.
Kara accepted a full-ride scholarship to Juniata College, where she played #1 doubles & #3 singles for the women's tennis team, toured internationally with the College Concert Choir, and was awarded the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society Circle Leader of the Year. Double-majoring in Biochemistry and Theatre, Kara graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2009 and was awarded the Ruth S. Wolfe Memorial Scholarship for students with excellent academic records. After graduation, she headed to Hershey, PA to attend Penn State College of Medicine on a scholarship.
Kara enjoys lifting, writing & performing music, raising her 2 sons, and her latest interest—pickleball! She accepted an invitation to compete at nationals in Dallas, Texas in 2024 after winning the gold in her age & division for both women’s and mixed doubles at Pennsylvania State Championships. As a mother, entrepreneur, and now a citizen of the U.S., Kara strives to bring the highest professional standard in her various interests. As an affluent investor, developer, and owner, Kara is known in the real estate industry as a world-class negotiator. Kara has a passion for giving back to the community that formed the person she is today and hopes you will be a part of her journey.
