Karen Farrell

Karen is a life-long resident of Huntsville. She and husband Pete love the outdoors, and when at home, are surrounded by an array of pets. Larry Bird, an African Grey parrot, has lived in their household for more than 20 years. Their dogs, Julio Jones, Tilly, and Rudy are spoiled rotten and treated like family because they are family.

like most Alabamians, Karen and Pete love college football. Pete is a huge Alabama fan and Karen is for “that other team.” It is no fun if everyone is for the same team! Sometimes it’s a difficult decision to make between watching their favorite team play on Saturday, spending the day outdoors on the river or traveling in the mountains.

Karen’s professional life has always been centered in the sales arena. As a successful account executive for a local TV station for more than 20 years, Karen learned the value of putting her customers first by finding out what their needs were and then doing everything she could to meet or exceed their expectations.

She has carried those values over into her real estate career. Her smile, easy-going demeanor and Southern Charm cannot be mistaken for her dedication to doing what needs to be done to complete any task that comes before her. One of Karen’s favorite quotes is, “When you’re dancing with a bear, you don’t quit when YOU get tired”.
