About Karen

Team Josef has served the St. Louis Metropolitan area since 1995. After graduating from MIZZOU with a Bachelor in Journalism, Karen Josef began her Real Estate Career in 1993 in St. Louis County selling new home construction. While her husband, Rob completed Chiropractic College. Her quest for learning all aspects of Real Estate took her to a career with AT & T -- negotiating site acquisition of land and working with zoning boards to complete the cellular phone system that we all rely upon so heavily today. In 1995, Karen was licensed as a Real Estate Broker and opened Josef Realty Service while completing projects for different cellular companies from Missouri to Louisiana.
In 1998, after acquisition pathways were complete, Karen began training to become a Real Estate Appraiser and was licensed as a State Certified appraiser in 1999.
Karen continued the sales phase of her career handling up to 9 agents at one time along with a staff of appraisers at Josef Realty. In 1999, Rob Josef began to slide into the world of Real Estate and leave the world of Chiropractic on the side. Lucky friends and family still enjoy top notch adjustments when needed. Starting with appraising and running our team of appraisers, Rob also became licensed as a Real Estate agent in 2004. We continue to work in our three sectors of Real Estate which helps us to have a current grasp on values in the entire metro area and share knowledge from several different sides of the industry.
